Karla Bailey Smith was a candidate running for state representative for Illinois’ 91st District. While pursuing my Political Science degree at Illinois State University, I interned as her Media Manager. I was responsible for filming Karla at events. I would organize, edit and upload media to our Google Drive for her social media. In addition, I would collaborate with other members of our campaign team. We organized events and brainstormed various marketing techniques to enhance her social media. The video to the right is her campaign launch speech that I filmed.
