Administrative Intern

While pursuing my Political Science degree at Illinois State University, I interned as a Budget Analyst Intern at the McLean County Government Center. I learned skills such as grant writing, data management, team collaboration and mastering Microsoft Office programs.

Some of my key duties included:

●  Updated McLean County's 2024 Budget with over 500 employees.

● Coded new formulas in Microsoft Excel to optimize data entries.

●  Researched and organized data from McLean County's hiring wages and surrounding areas for McLean County to remain salary competitive.

I continued to work in the Government Center for the next year as a Digital Navigator. I served in the Lead For America program working with the Illinois Broadband Office to ensure high speed internet to all areas of McLean County.
